Farsa Chimie company, as one of the world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of Ethylene Glycol (EG) commenced the production in Dec 2007 and exported the considerable quantities to Asian and European markets.
Farsa Chimie manufacturing plant is located in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) which is also called Assaluyeh, on the shore of the Persian Gulf in southern Iran.
The state-of-the-art plant is designed to produce:
400,000 ton/year Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG)
40,000 ton/year Di Ethylene Glycol (DEG)
4,000 ton/year Tri Ethylene Glycol (TEG)
The plant is also set-up to export nearly 95% of the annual production to growing global markets.
Farsa Chimie expects to achieve a significant presence in the petrochemical market & related downstream industries and also intends to invest on petrochemical projects and expand the industrial activities in order to manufacture the high value added chemicals in long term.
It is worth to mention that Farsa Chimie is now member of Association of Petrochemical Industry Corporation (APIC) and Iranian Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Products Exporter’s Union (OPEX)

Farsa Chimie’s boards of directors have extensive experience in the Textile and related industries as directors of “Farsa Industrial Group” a renowned high quality machine-made carpet and yarn producer.
Feedstock, Utility and Load port
The required ethane-based ethylene feedstock and utility for the Farsa Chimie’s manufacturing plant are supplied by Jam Petrochemical and Mobin Petrochemical respectively.
The product is shipped from Pars Petrochemiacl Port, jetty # 3 & 4 in Assaluyeh to Asian and European main ports.
